While not a traditional aspect of a wedding ensemble, many of our customers like the dramatic flair that a lined inner envelope provides.
There are several varieties of paper that we cut and then use to line envelopes by hand to coordinate with our house ink colors.. These papers can be used for any of our envelopes and are the only ones available for our Classic Ivory, Lettra and Arturo envelopes. These are also the only liners available for our social stationery envelopes.
Hand-lined versus Pre-lined Envelopes
The paper we use to line envelopes by hand are generally a higher quality, a matte finish for the non-metallic (or Bertini or Rossi) papers and cover the entire inner envelope. The paper that's part of the pre-lined envelopes is generally a slicker stock and covers about half of the inner envelope.
Adding an envelope liner adds $70 for the first 100 hand-lined envelopes and $18 for each additional 25 envelopes for a Deluxe, Premier, Tea Length and Luxury for $70/100; Empire and Marquis for $118/100. Adding an envelope liner layer to an oversize or square invitation envelope adds $118 for the first 100 and $28 for each additional 25. Pre-lined envelope options are $35 for the first 100 envelopes and $8.75 for each additional 25 envelopes.
Adding a liner to your social stationery adds $12 per 25 envelopes.
A more economical option for our clients is to use pre-lined envelopes. While these liners are less expensive, they are not available for all envelopes.
